Dr. Sagar M. Goyal is a Professor in the Veterinary Population Medicine Department, College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Minnesota in Saint Paul, USA. He is member of the Graduate Faculty in VetMed program. He has more than 50 years of experience in virology. His research interests in veterinary virology include disease pathogenesis, rapid viral diagnosis, strain variation in viruses, evaluation of antivirals and disinfectants, and prevention and control of viral infections in animals and poultry. His laboratory was responsible for the first isolation of avian metapneumovirus (aMPV) from Minnesota turkeys. A live, attenuated vaccine against aMPV was produced in his laboratory and was licensed by the USDA. In addition to his expertise on animal viruses, he is an expert in environmental virology. Areas of interest in environmental microbiology include drug resistant bacteria, human enteric viruses in food and water, fecal bacteria and phages as indicators of fecal pollution, and development of methods to detect small amounts of viruses from large quantities of food, water, and air. He has published five books and over 400 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Graduated in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (2001) UNESP. Master's degree in Animal Quality and Productivity from the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (2004) USP and PhD in Animal and Pasture Science from the "Luiz de Queiroz" School of Agriculture (2008) USP. He is currently Associate Professor 4 at the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF). Advises at master's and doctoral level. He has experience in the area of Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, with an emphasis on precision nutrition, nutritional requirements for animals, forage farming and pastures and production and characterization of natural plant extracts in animal nutrition and reproduction.
Prof. Fulvia Bovera Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at University of Napoli Federico II, she is full professor of “Zoocolture” (Poultry, rabbit and fish production) at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, University of Napoli Federico II. Prof. Bovera is listed among the “top 2% of scientists” for the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. She is Associate Editor for Italian Journal of Animal Science (ISSN 1828-051X). She is Director of the post graduated Master course in “Edible Insect farming and their industrial applications”. The main research topics of prof. Bovera are:1) Use of insect meals in poultry and fish nutrition; 2) Alternative to antibiotics in rabbit production; 3) Improvement of honey bee production Prof. Bovera is author/coauthor of 164 experimental papers.

My work has been widely recognized, and I have been privileged to receive 18 international fellowships, which have allowed me to attend various events organized by reputable organizations This global exposure has honed my ability to navigate complex scientific challenges and work effectively with diverse teams, making me a valuable asset to any organization seeking to make an impact on a global scale. In addition, I have authored 4 books on topics related to my field of expertise, and I have developed a successful poultry mobile app for farmers and entrepreneurs.
